The pattern was very easy and looks great on my daughter as you can hopefully see from the included pictures if I get it to work right.
I plan to make a few more hats as family members are all whining that they weren't the first person to get one. My first actual knitted item was a different hat that was SO small (I'm working on my scale) that I gave it to a co-worker for her new baby *blush*.
Can't await to keep learning!!
